Special Message from the National Pastor

 O GIVE THANKS!

 Psalms 105:1-3, 106:1, 107:1-2, Luke 17:11-19

I want to appreciate God for giving me this opportunity to celebrate with you on the occasion of your 16th Church Anniversary of the RCCG, Dominion Sanctuary, Duazon, Margibi County, Liberia. We will not be good Children if we do not thank Him for the great things He has done for us  in this Church.

The Story of this Parish is similar to the story of the Redeemed Christian Church of God Worldwide, which started as a House-fellowship of few people, and that same work has grown to Parishes in over 180 Nations of the World today. This same Parish has given birth to several Parishes within and outside this county. To God be all the glory!

In Luke 17:11-19, when Jesus asked the lepers to go and show themselves to the Priests, He already knew what He wanted to do. Ten of them started the journey to go and see the Priests. Only nine got to the Priests. One of them turned back to go and meet the originator of the Miracle. In Jesus ‘words, He was amazed that only one of them could return to give glory to God – “And Jesus answering said, were there not Ten cleansed? But where are the Nine? There are not found to give glory to God, save this Stranger.
And He said unto him, Arise, go thy way, thy faith hath made thee whole” Luke 17: 17-19

This is a great lesson to every one of us. Where are the other Nine? Why did they not return to give glory to God? They lost the blessings of Wholeness. They only received the blessings of healing. The Only one that returned to give glory to God, not only received his healing, but he   will never experience the disease of Leprosy again for the rest of his life.

As a Church, we must present ourselves as that one that has come to give glory to God. As we Praise Him for what He has done over the years, we trust Him for fearful blessings that will come our ways in the years to come. Psalm 67:5-7 says:
“Let the people praise thee, O God, let all the people praise thee.
Then shall the earth yield her increase, and God, even our own God shall bless us. God shall bless us, and all the ends of the earth shall fear Him.”

Let us cultivate the Attitude of gratitude no matter the situation we find ourselves. Gratitude they say is a great attitude. As we do this, He will bless us the more and do great and mighty things for us as a Church, Family and Individuals in Jesus name.

Congratulations and Happy Celebrations in Jesus name.
