The atmosphere was filled with joy, reflection, and gratitude as 145 people gathered for the “Let Go A Fishing” outreach—an impactful community program that blended spiritual inspiration with compassionate action.
Held in the spirit of Christmas, the outreach focused on reminding families and individuals of the true meaning of the season: Jesus Christ, the priceless gift given to humanity. Anchored on 2 Corinthians 9:15 – “Let us thank God for his priceless gift!” and Isaiah 9:6 – “For a child is born to us… and he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Eternal Father, Prince of Peace,” the message centered on hope, love, and the transforming power of Christ.
A Message That Touched Hearts
The highlight of the program was the message titled “The Priceless Gift.” Speakers emphasized that while Christmas often focuses on material exchange, the greatest gift ever given is Jesus—God’s answer to humanity’s deepest needs. The message encouraged attendees to embrace Christ not only as a historical figure, but as a living gift of salvation, peace, healing, and purpose.

Compassion in Action: Medical Care for the Community
Beyond words, the outreach delivered tangible care. Out of the 145 attendees, 60 individuals benefited from free medical services, which included five major health tests:
- Blood sugar
- Typhoid
- Hepatitis
- HIV
- High blood pressure
These screenings provided critical health insights, early detection opportunities, and practical support to individuals who might otherwise lack access to such services. Smiles, relief, and gratitude filled the medical stand as beneficiaries received both attention and encouragement.
Christmas Gifts for Children
In keeping with the season of giving, children received food items and Christmas gifts, bringing excitement and warmth to the celebration. Laughter echoed through the venue as young faces lit up—simple moments that powerfully reflected the heart of the event: sharing love in practical ways.
